Table Creative is a woman-owned, community-driven marketing studio helping independent gourmet kitchen stores grow and thrive across the U.S. and Canada. We create thoughtful, food-focused content that brings people together — around cooking, and around your store.
We believe small businesses are the heart of vibrant communities. Our model offers high-quality, consistent, and accessible marketing support. We focus on uplifting your small business and inspiring your customers with useful, meaningful content, which helps you stay current and connected.
LIA SONESON,
Co-Owner
Lia has a diverse creative skill set on the Table Creative team - she focuses on recipe development, food styling, photography, and graphic design. Her favorite kitchen item is her Staub braiser. Lia enjoys hosting dinner parties at her home in Seattle, painting miniature landscapes, spending time outdoors, exploring (and eating!) her way around the globe with her husband, Björn and their three amazing kids.
SERA ROGERS,
Co-Owner
Sera is also based in Seattle and focuses on photography, food styling, recipe development, and graphic design on the Table Creative team. Her favorite kitchen companion is a well-loved Le Creuset 7.25 QT Dutch Oven. She gravitates toward the beautifully imperfect — the details that make people and moments feel real, and carries that perspective into both her creative and personal life. In her free time she loves painting, drawing, collecting art, and exploring the Pacific Northwest with her husband and children.
Led by co-owners Lia and Sera, Table Creative grew from a shared love of food, creativity, and small business. Today, alongside a talented all-women team, they support independent retailers with content that helps their businesses flourish.
Like many of the stores we work with, we are also a family business, as Emy is Lia's older sister! Emy is super-organized, detail oriented, and loves digging into the technical bits and bytes that make our services work smoothly. Her favorite kitchen item is her pressure cooker. She lives in western Wisconsin with its changing seasons, and loves spending time outdoors with her husband, Tony, and their three dogs.
EMY MONROE
Publication Director
Dana is a freelance artist and photographer currently living in Phoenix, AZ where she contributes design work and food photography to Table Creative. Her kitchen wouldn’t be complete without her workhorse Miyabi Kaizen 8” chef’s knife. When she’s not on a culinary adventure or playing pickleball with her husband Don, Dana enjoys portrait painting, figure drawing, fiber arts, calligraphy, and photographing the everyday style of unique people during her travels.

Our Story
Table Creative originally began in 2007 as Acorn Advisors Marketing — the vision of MaraBeth Soneson, who saw an opportunity to better serve the marketing needs of small, independent, community-driven gourmet kitchen retailers.
2007
Lia joined the team as a recipe developer and graphic designer and quickly learned the ropes.
The business continued to grow organically through word of mouth.
2009
Sera joined the team and added her creative output with a keen photographic eye and passion for making pescatarian fare.
2016
Lia and Sera took over the business as MaraBeth retired, all while a worldwide pandemic happened.
We continued to grow the business as Emy and Dana joined the team.
2020
We rebranded as Table Creative and continue to work to earn your business everyday.

The Dinner Table by Henri Matisse, 1897
The earliest known dining tables date back to around 2500 BC in Ancient Egypt. Throughout history, they’ve been richly depicted in art as more than just functional objects — they are enduring symbols of gathering and connection. Around the table, we share ideas, celebrate culture, and find common ground, brought together by the simple, unifying experience of food.
Everything we make is rooted in connection: our original recipes and useful educational cooking tips inspire home cooks, spark engagement, and strengthen customer relationships. Every piece is custom-branded to reflect your voice, your products, and your in-store experience.
